In my quest for personal stories of dating horrors, I'm finding that there are a lot of people of all ages that have close friends or relatives that have had their hearts broken, their wallets emptied and their self-esteem crushed in the process of searching for their one-and-only.
It doesn't matter how young or old you are, we all want to be nurtured, adored, cherished, desired, and appreciated. It is part of being human. Even our pets and plants need affection and love!
So I have a question for you.......have you turned your affection and adoration to your fluffy feline, your loyal pup, or your feathered friend instead of chancing the rejection of another human?
Have you sequestered yourself to the TV and your beloved pet when the day's work is done? Has that led you to feelings of depression.....of zoning out.....of no energy for life.....over-eating or over-medicating as a protection from being hurt just one more time from a humanoid?
Come out from hiding my friends and let's get back in the game of "life" again.....

What Level of Heart Scammed Have you Experienced?
It occurred to me that there might be "levels" of being heart scammed. I pondered about my recent "3-Day Twitterpation Adventure" and looked at it on a scale of zero to ten, with ten being the most distressing. I came up with it being a "1" when I compared it to the "learning experience" I had when I had to go through an annullment, which led me to testify for the state in a fraud case they brought against my ex-husband. That definitely was a whopping big 10!!!!
That one took me a lot of years of energy healing work to clear up. That's why it took me 10 years before considering the possibility of opening up my heart again to any "relationship."
I think the hypervigilence I acquired around dating and relationships after the big 10 saved my hiney this time, so that it only was a 1.
